Alongside the Trustees, Verity is assisted by a dedicated team of volunteers, without whom the cost of running the charity would be substantially increased.

Nic joined Verity in 2001, and was a Trustee from 2002 till 2006. Now running a boutique bookkeeping business from home, she provides both bookkeeping services and business advice to Verity. Nic is heavily involved in the financial management of several voluntary groups and is delighted to still be involved with such a worthwhile charity.
Sarah graduated from university in 2001 with a degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting and since then has been working as an Admissions Officer for her local hospital Trust, while trying to get her journalism career off the ground. Sarah joined Verity in March 2006 as a contributing writer for In Touch, combining two of her great passions – writing and helping to spread the word about PCOS.
